Singapore - Great Britain 5:7 (1:1, 2:4, 2:2)

Journalists in the press room standing at the windows with a glance in their eyes or at least jumping to the window when they here the spectators cheer to look what happend, a Finnish national team with a smile watching the last minute of the match before they have to warm up for their one - this happens just to very special match. Special matches like the final - or this one!
Singapore were definitly the underdogs in the match between the two supposed-to-be-worst teams of Group 3 and early in the match you could see that the British team will dominate the duel. It was the 47th minute when Singapore tied the score for the fourth time - after the fourth time being back on the scoreboard. Three times one goal behind, once two goals. But they never gave up against an opponent, who was physically stronger, technically slightly better and especially much better in building their game. But Singapore had one thing to fight against all this: their strong hearts who never wanted to resign, never wanted to stop them. They fought all the time and nearly made the wonder.
This was definitely not the best match so far, but for me, it was the nicest one I have seen so far. Singapore showed incredible sportsmanship against a much stronger opponent from Britain. They caught the spectators just by showing that they will do everything not to loose.
Oh, I forgot: by scoring twice in one minute, Great Britain decided the match in the 48th minute and won 7-5. But this is not important for me - not in that match: no team can party after their goals like Singapore does!
